| 5th Grade Recognition | ||

| Description: | This committee organizes the year-end celebration for our graduating 5th graders. The time committment is greatest in the spring (April) leading up to the graduation ceremony itself. |

| Annual Spring Carnival | ||

| Description: | This fun event is planned as a year-end celebration for the students. Each classroom provides a booth (game/activity). There are carnival games, food, and music. Students will bring home ticket order forms and other information for the Silent Auction. |

The Accelerated Reader Board is the place where our students are recognized for their reading achievements using the Accelerated Reader program. For more information about the Accelerated Reader program, click here. |

| Beautifcation/Playground | ||

| Description: | Michelle - michelleelliott@sbcglobal.net This committee works throughout the year to improve the grounds around our school. Activities include work days in the fall for general clean-up, planting bulbs, planning for plantings, as well as working with LRSD to leverage funds. |

| Description: | Thic committee is responsible for planning and executing the monthly "Good Citizen" celebration. Tiem commitment includes planning and obtaining refreshments as well as awards for the students. |

| Grandparents' Day | ||

This is an annual celebration in September. Grandparents (or other family members) are invited to join their student(s) for lunch and a visit to ther classroom or the playground. | Description: | This Committee is responsible for planning and carrying out the celebration at the end of each nine-week period (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). The time commitment involves coordinating the printing of the Honor Roll certificates, presention of the certificates to the students, and the celebration. |

This committee is responsible for providing Hospitality and Staff Appreciation activities throughout the year. There are opportunities to help the committee on a monthly basis. |

| New Uniform Sales | ||

This committee helps organize the sale of new uniforms at the beginning of the school year and at intervals throughout the school year. Uniform items such as spirit shirts, sweatshirts, and PE shorts can be purchased on the website, or an order form may be downloaded and reutrned to the school office. |

| Description: | Volunteer throughout the school year to help give tours of our great school. You, along with a staff member can show the highlights to prospective parents and students. |

| Description: | This person helps coordinate special activities in the classrooms, working with each teacher. There are usually one or two parents in each classroom. This person helps coordinate communications with these speical parents throughout the year. |

| Description: | This committee is responsible for updating the information on the marquee sign at the front of the school. The time commitment is usually about an hour at every three weeks. Sign information changes more frequently at certain times of the year. |

| Uniform Resale | ||

Each fall the PTA sponsors a uniform resale. This is a great place to find deals on uniforms and to help out the PTA by donating your gently used uniforms. |

Keep track of your volunteer hours througout the year. Each PTA reports their volunteer hours in march of each year. Eligible activities include time spent at PTA meetings, any time you volnteer at the school, any time spent on special projects (carnival, fund raising, clipping box tops, etc.). |

ACCOUNT CREATION
Step 1 - You must create an account, or login to an account you created previously.
Step 2 - One you have logged in (as a retrning or new user), you ARE REQUIRED to update or enter your student's information into the account profile.

Click on "Home" and then drop down to "Williams Magnet PTA". You will open a new page with a white background.

Click on the "My PTO" tab at the top left and then click "My Students" to enter your student's information. You will be required to enter your student's grade information and teacher's name.

If you do not know your student's teacher's name you may select NOT YET KNOWN.

Purchases require the student information in your account so that the items can be delivered to your student.
